![]() ![]() Matthew Prince, CEO of Cloudflare, said that typing confidential matters into chatbots was like "turning a bunch of PhD students loose in all of your private records. Microsoft declined to comment on whether it has a blanket ban on staff entering confidential information into public AI programs, including its own, though a different executive there told Reuters he personally restricted his use. "There, our policies are much more strict." "Companies are taking a duly conservative standpoint," said Mehdi, explaining how Microsoft's free Bing chatbot compares with its enterprise software. It "makes sense" that companies would not want their staff to use public chatbots for work, said Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's consumer chief marketing officer. The default setting in Bard and ChatGPT is to save users' conversation history, which users can opt to delete. Google and Microsoft also are offering conversational tools to business customers that will come with a higher price tag but refrain from absorbing data into public AI models. Our AI assistant chatbot can do many tasks with endless possibilities: - Write anything: tweets, headlines, emails, essays, chat responses, SEO content, meta descriptions, ad copy, code - Creative: poems, songs, brainstorming ideas, researching - Answer questions based on existing knowledge. For instance, Cloudflare (NET.N), which defends websites against cyberattacks and offers other cloud services, is marketing a capability for businesses to tag and restrict some data from flowing externally. Some companies have developed software to address such concerns. Included in this content, however, can be misinformation, sensitive data or even copyrighted passages from a “Harry Potter” novel.Ī Google privacy notice updated on June 1 also states: "Don’t include confidential or sensitive information in your Bard conversations." ![]() Such technology can draft emails, documents, even software itself, promising to vastly speed up tasks. Google told Reuters it has had detailed conversations with Ireland's Data Protection Commission and is addressing regulators' questions, after a Politico report Tuesday that the company was postponing Bard's EU launch this week pending more information about the chatbot's impact on privacy. Now Google is rolling out Bard to more than 180 countries and in 40 languages as a springboard for creativity, and its warnings extend to its code suggestions. An AI chatbot is a program within a website or app that uses machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) to interpret inputs and understand the intent behind a request. Some 43% of professionals were using ChatGPT or other AI tools as of January, often without telling their bosses, according to a survey of nearly 12,000 respondents including from top U.S.-based companies, done by the networking site Fishbowl.īy February, Google told staff testing Bard before its launch not to give it internal information, Insider reported.

These are great because you can use editing apps to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. ![]() Even better, you can use your phone or iPad to take photos and print them straight from the phone with a Portable Bluetooth Printer. I have the Polaroid one (I don’t think they make it anymore, and the ones left on Amazon are more than double what I paid for), so I linked the comparable Kodak one. The cameras are great for kids to take their own pictures. We’ve bought a couple of kid-friendly cameras over the years, and my current favorite is the Canon Ivy. I find the picture quality is better than the Instax, and I really like the Zip instant photos with the peel-off paper if you want to turn them into stickers. We even made dioramas with them when we returned home.Īnother fun addition to travel journals is photos. My friend Tisha and I collected free travel brochures everywhere we went and cut them up to document our trip. I distinctively remember a road trip we took out west when I was maybe 12 years old. They have a lot of great things the kids can cut and scrapbook. I found stacks of Michigan travel brochures on eBay for a few dollars as well as some Michigan tourism magazines that include places we’re visiting. Inside Our Pouches: colored pencils, good journal pens, kid scissors (for cutting things to scrapbook), fun travel themed stickers, double sided tape, glue stick To build some excitement for the trip, I’ll have the kids decorate the covers of their journals the night before we leave. They’re the perfect size-a little smaller than a regular school notebook, and they’re unlined so great for scrapbooking and art. ![]() They come in a 3-pack, so it worked great for my kids (I ended up buying an additional one for me). I bought these Soft Cover Spiral Notebooks. I found these wet dry pouches in the Dollar Spot at Target, but these are similar and the same size. Everything fits into a pouch (I used paint pens to write their names) to keep them organized and make them easy to transport. This year’s travel journals are similar in that they’re very open-ended-blank books and all the fun things a kid would want to write, draw, cut and paste things they see, taste, hear, experience and collect as they adventure. The open-ended scrapbook approach kept her busy for hours. ![]() This past year, Lainey really got into journaling as a creative tool-not so much deep dive writing into all her feelings (although I hope that comes) but more a creative collection of thoughts and ideas she noticed in the world: cutting out fun things she liked and gluing them in her scrapbook, making lists, collecting quotes, compiling affirmations, etc. We’ve done different kinds of journals over the years, but I’m excited for this year’s because I put a lot of thought into what I know my kids will love and set them up with creative tools to make the experience of journaling more inviting. One of my favorite things about our road trip and summer adventures is our travel journals. ![]() We hope that we have fixed most of the bugs you have reported for the first beta. ![]() The Raspberry Pi comes with an 8Gb SD card installed. The 2Tb SD card is still the most recent one and thus, very scarce. The earlier sizes (2Gb and below) have lost relevance as requirements for them have reduced over time. As we have come of age, we have seen a lot of doubling in sizes and capacities of these cards. Now that you know the format, Let's talk about size. Thus, if you have any SD card with capacities higher than 32Gb, you have to format or reformat such SD card to FAT32 before installing on your Raspberry Pi. ![]() The Raspberry Pi's bootloader can only read from FAT16 and FAT32 SD cards. These cards can take data ranging from 64Gb to 1Tb. The last format, exFAT, is found in SD Extended Capacity (SDXC) cards. The FAT16 format is found in SD cards and their capacities are from 128Mb to 2Gb of data. Each format represents classes of SD cards based on specifications provided by the SD association.
